Collection of Pine Cigarette Packs

Started with

2006, during a period of profound loneliness with no one to engage with, I began to draw each finished cigarette pack. Automatically, I would fold and crush the empty pack, leading to a desire to depict this object as it became my sole means of communication.

The pack took on a life of its own in my art. Intentionally, I imbued it with the qualities of a living being to enhance its expressive power, transforming it into a piece of art that invites deeper contemplation.
